For me and my group's project, we got heavy metal. This genre was a little difficult for us cause we all didn't know much but, after major research, we feel good about this genre. Our brainstorming included the topic of what type of music video we are doing, and how are we gonna do it. Our research about our case studies was a little tough, cause some of the artists were kinda irrelevant and didn't have much info. We all ended up finding good artists for our case studies which gave us more knowledge on this project.
We all worked on the chart and outline together. After figuring out that we wanted to do a promotion/storytelling music video, we decided on what characters were gonna be needed in the video, and what they will be wearing. After we finished that we got straight to filming. We met up at Marias' house and shot a couple of scenes but need to finish more this upcoming Sunday at the Town center.
The two major challenges I think my group had was figuring out a time everyone was not busy and could film and making sure the storyline makes sense. The next steps will be finished at the Town center Sunday and Maria's house. Maria is already working on editing the few parts we have now which look amazing.
